This lesson explores the art of creating an improvised solo using several phrasing concepts and a basic jazz vocabulary. In the lesson, playing an improvised solo is related to the art of story telling. Exercises and examples in this lesson are based on the chord changes to the standard, "Blue Bossa."
A play-along track is recommended but not required for practicing and utilizing this lesson. There are a number of free ones available on YouTube.
