With the soprano, you are correct, intonation is challenging! Remember that the pitch on soprano is much like the pitch on other saxes in that it is best controlled through voicing rather than jaw pressure.
I don’t typically play soprano on a day to day basis- I’m more of a tenor- alto-Bari guy. But when I do, I always work pitch via long tones. Choosing a standard in-tune note- perhaps middle B, play that note followed by other tones. The objective being to learn the proper voicing to get each note yo respond repeatedly in tune. Then select s different standard note from a different register- maybe a high B, and repeat the exercise. The objective being to learn to voice each note in tune in a variety of contexts.
